Terms of Use

The ground rules for this site.

These terms govern your use of the Deeptech Europe website. They are written to be read — not to hide things in.

Last updated: 15 September 2026

01Who we are

This website is operated by Deeptech Europe, a pan-European platform working alongside scientists, engineers and technical founders building deep technology companies. Our legal entity registration is being finalised; full registered office and company details will be published here once confirmed. You can reach us at any time through the “Build with us” contact form.

02What this site is — and is not

The content on this website is provided for general information. It describes our way of working and the areas in which we are active. Nothing on this site constitutes investment advice, legal advice, an offer or solicitation to buy or sell securities, or an offer to enter into any agreement. Field notes marked as samples are illustrative editorial placeholders, not accounts of real engagements.

Any collaboration, programme participation or commercial relationship with Deeptech Europe is governed by separate written agreements — not by these website terms.

03Acceptable use

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure.
  • Scrape, harvest or bulk-collect content or personal data from the site.
  • Transmit malicious code, spam or misleading information through our forms.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us.

04Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, design, imagery, graphics and the Deeptech Europe name and mark — is owned by or licensed to Deeptech Europe and protected by copyright and related intellectual property law. You may view and share links to the site, but you may not reproduce, modify or republish substantial portions of it without our prior written consent.

Information you send us through the contact form remains yours; by sending it you give us permission to read it and respond. Please do not submit confidential technical information through the website — if a conversation matures, we will put an appropriate confidentiality arrangement in place first.

05Third-party links

The site links to third-party services such as LinkedIn. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites. Visiting them is at your own discretion and subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

06Availability and liability

We work to keep this website accurate, secure and available, but it is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site, and we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law, including applicable consumer protection law.

07Privacy

The processing of personal data in connection with this website is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

08Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state in which Deeptech Europe is registered, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Once our seat is confirmed, this clause will name the specific jurisdiction. The courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive competence, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own member state. The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

09Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
